When the site is accessed, the browser type/version, operating system, referrer URL, host name, date/time and IP address are recorded automatically (Art. 6 (1) lit. f), stored for security reasons for a maximum of 7 days and not merged with other data.

If you contact us by e-mail or telephone, we store your information in order to handle your request (Art. 6 (1) lit. b or lit. f) and delete it as soon as it is no longer required.

Through the registration form we collect: first name, surname, date of birth, gender, address, telephone, e-mail, chosen course, message and acceptance of the terms and conditions (AGB) — for the purpose of processing the registration and performing the course contract (Art. 6 (1) lit. b). The technical processing is carried out via services of Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC, USA (Google Forms, Google Sheets; an automatic confirmation e-mail with the terms and conditions is sent via Google/Gmail). This may involve a transfer to the USA; the legal bases are a data processing agreement (Art. 28), standard contractual clauses (Art. 46) and/or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (Art. 45). Stored for the duration of the contract and within the scope of statutory retention periods (6/10 years under the German Commercial Code / Fiscal Code, HGB/AO).

We also use the date of birth to send you birthday greetings, for age-appropriate course planning and for statistical analysis; the indication of gender serves to ensure the correct personal form of address. Insofar as this use goes beyond the mere performance of the contract, it is based on our legitimate interest in personal customer care and needs-based course planning (Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR); you may object to this at any time.

Fonts and images are delivered exclusively from our own server (embedded locally). No transfer of your data to third parties (such as Google Fonts or Unsplash) takes place in this process.

We process the data of minors only with the consent of their legal guardians or for the performance of the contract concluded with them. The registration of minors may be carried out exclusively by their legal guardians.

You can contact us voluntarily via the WhatsApp button; alternatively, you can reach us by e-mail or telephone. The provider is Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., Dublin. The transmitted data (telephone number, profile name, message content, any attachments) is also processed by Meta and may be transferred to the USA; we have no influence over the processing carried out by Meta. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR (initiation of a contract) or lit. f GDPR (simple, fast communication). Please do not send any particularly sensitive information via WhatsApp (e.g. data concerning health or learning difficulties) — use e-mail, telephone or a personal conversation for that instead. We delete messages as soon as they are no longer required.

In order to answer enquiries (via WhatsApp, e-mail or the registration form) more quickly and more carefully, we use an AI-assisted support system. For this purpose, the content of your enquiry (name, contact details, message text) may be transmitted to our AI service provider and, where applicable, processed on servers outside the EU (in particular the USA). The legal basis is our legitimate interest in efficient, high-quality handling (Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR) or the initiation of a contract (lit. b). No solely automated decision producing legal effects within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR takes place — the system merely prepares responses; the final decision is always made by a human. You may object to this processing at any time and contact us by conventional means.

This privacy policy will be adapted as required to reflect changed functions or legal requirements.

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which the contract is concluded. If you withdraw from this contract, we must repay all payments to you without delay and at the latest within fourteen days of the day on which we receive your withdrawal (using the same means of payment; no fees). If you have requested that the course begin during the withdrawal period, you owe us a reasonable amount for the services already provided up to the withdrawal (on a pro rata basis).
